Underground Power Distribution

Beach Caravan Park

The Rules Beach Caravan Park redevelopment was undertaken to revitalise a key coastal destination in the Gladstone Region, boosting tourism appeal and supporting local economic growth. Nestled along pristine beachfront, the park provides upgraded facilities for holidaymakers, caravanners, and eco-tourists seeking high-quality amenities in a natural setting. As part of the redevelopment, the electrical infrastructure was modernised to improve reliability, safety, and capacity for future expansion.

We were engaged by a long-standing development partner to deliver the complete underground power distribution system for the park, ensuring a professional, fit-for-purpose installation aligned with best practice design and engineering principles.

Scope of Works Completed:

  • Installed the complete underground conduit system for power distribution throughout the park.
  • Pulled and installed all underground cabling, including main feeds and distribution circuits.
  • Connected and commissioned Ergon Energy main supply infrastructure.
  • Installed the main switchboard to serve the entire park.
  • Installed sub-boards to distribute power to individual park sections and amenities.
  • Assisted the client in achieving best practice design and engineering deliverables for long-term operational efficiency and compliance.

The completed works delivered a reliable, future-ready power network for the Rules Beach Caravan Park, enabling enhanced facilities for visitors and supporting the site’s role as a growing tourism hub in the region.
