ICE Engineering and Construction is a diversified Construction and Maintenance company co-founded by the current CEO, Nick Bindi in Whyalla SA in April 2001. With a strong mining and materials handling background, Nick quickly established ICE as a can-do Electrical contractor in Whyalla and Roxby Downs.
In 2009, the business was acquired by E&A Limited, providing access to growth funding. We now execute projects for various industrial sectors across the nation for some of Australia’s largest companies with an annual turnover of >$AUD50M.
ICE are ISO 45001, ISO9001, ISO14001, CM3, Achilles and Browz accredited with more than 2,800,000 hours and 14 years LTI free. This is a significant achievement for an SME working predominantly in remote areas on heavy industrial and hazardous facilities.
Our core skills cover all the electrical and instrumentation requirements of a site from the installation, termination and testing of MV (33kV) power and distribution equipment, calibration and installation of field instruments to the installation of general power and lighting equipment.

The development of major Greenfield and complex Brownfield Projects. ICE core competency is the installation of Electrical and Instrumentation equipment. Due to this experience we have developed our capability to deliver Multi disciplined projects as the Principal Contractor for selected clients.
During the commissioning phase of the project ICE engages our Maintenance personnel to work adjacent to our Construction team. The intimate knowledge of the plant they have just constructed is shared providing the Maintenance team an unparalleled insight into the detail of each asset. This knowledge is further utilised when the client requires labour for the following activities
